A day out in Vancouver

OK I admit it, it has been raining all day.
We started the day with a very hearty breakfast and then went shopping for groceries. A luxury you don't realize you miss. I was trying to avoid looking at the prices for fear of a coronary.
We then went to visit Tufty in her temporary home, she seemed a bit suspicious of us as if we were about to put her in the car again and drive away. I won her over with copious amounts of veggies.
Next we went to Granville Island, bought some gifts, Deanna for her family and me for myself, and beer.
We then picked up Darrell and went for a large tree tour of BC.
First large tree was on the way to my lovely new house, we stalked it for a while, the house not the tree. Unfortunately I did step into a big pile of dog poo while walking down the back passage. Luckily the excessive amount of rain washed it away quite quickly. Had lunch at the local pub and then did a driving/walking tour of Stanley Park. Very beautiful and I cannot wait to ride my bike through there.
We watched the last third of the Vancouver/San Jose game, and I'm now preparing for my first day of work tomorrow.
Next stop The Vancouver Cancer Centre
