We made it to Marathon (about half way to Winnipeg) in one day and are very impressed with ourselves. Tufty was very quiet on the journey but has livened up in the hotel room, just in time for us to try to sleep.
Very exciting trees and rocks along the trip, it did get very cool once we hit Lake Superior, we even had to avoid a rock slide.
Animals spotted so far (apart from Tufty):
1. Moose (I almost pooped myself) adrenalin rush almost had us to Thunder Bay
2. Bob cat - Extremely cool, he stood and looked at us for a while but didn't find us that interesting.
Tomorrow Winnipeg and dinner with Deanna's family - wish me luck.

Well done, 12 hour travel days are very ambitious. You mock the rocks and trees but I suggest you savour them, the prairies will challenge you with such fun activities as "Spot THE tree!"
